Married Bruce in 1972, we lived in Olney Springs where we live now. In 1976 Bruce joined the Army and we lived in St. Roberts, MO, then Junction City, KS. In 1980 we bought the house we are living in today. We have 8 grandchildren. Since 1980, I have worked as an Avon dealer, news reporter, school cook, and 18 years on Town council either as councilwoman or Mayor. Have been Town insurance clerk for 20 yr. and still at it. In 2005 found out I had colon cancer, had colon surgery in 2005, liver surgery in 2008, radiation surgery on lung in 20012 and chemo treatments in between surgeries and still on chemo. Our son Terry was Fire Chief and died in a fire.
Bruce is working as a Prison Guard and we are looking forward to retirement.
Bruce retired from the Fire Dept. this year, but still work at the Prison. I'm back on chemo, cancer came back in the other lung. But still working.
