I actually left WHS in December of my Sr. year after being there for all of high school, I still feel like I graduated from Waynesville. I went to college in Ga at the Ft. valley State College. Graduated and went to Germany for 2 yes with my folks. Went to law school in Mn, met my husband here, graduated, stayed in Mn, married my husband, raised my children, had a wonderful career in human right/civil rights field. Stopped working for about 10 years to take care of my kids, after volunteering in school, I started working in my children's high school as the Parent Involvement Coordinator, which is where I am today. I love working with the kids. My husband are now empty nesters!!! This is a very exciting time in my life! The next phase. . . .

I high school I didn't drink or do drugs. I did smoke! Every morning, I would head to the bathroom near the gym at the end of the hall and join the other smokers in one of the stalls. Usually 5 of us could fit in one stall. One person stood on the floor so anyone coming in could see someone was "using" the stall. The other 4 of us would stand on top of the stool, and lean on the sides, most of the time sharing a cigarette! It's no wonder we didn't get sick from sharing cigarettes, but I don't remember EVER being sick. Maybe the smoke killed any germs (-: and secondly, when you opened the door to that bathroom in the morning before school started, the smoke POURED OUT!!! Mr. Morris, never came in. . .
