I still live on property between Jerome and Devils Elbow that my brother Kent and I inherited from our parents. I retired in 2010 after working at Ft. Leonard Wood for 38 years. Some of the jobs I had included hair stylist, airline accounting clerk for the old Skyways Aviation, passport agent, fire inspector and Assistant Chief, household goods packing inspector, and finished up my working life as a safety specialist for the Army Engineers at Ft. Wood. During my ten years with the Safety office I traveled to Alaska several times as well as throughout the south doing safety surveys and training. I am a Certified Occupational Safety and Health Official but choose to live my life quietly in the true spirit of retirement.
